On Education

Whenever I talk with someone who’s pursuing a degree/diploma at a post-secondary institution but NOT at Canada’s top ranked university (in all fields)* I need to rub it in their faces that I have. 

Par exemple (see, smart right?):

Me: “Well you know, I do have an Honours B.A in which I majored in architecture - focusing on the theories and criticism of the medium - as well as majoring in urban studies. I also did a minor in geography but like, it’s not worth mentioning.”

Them: “Wow, so you double majored and minored? That must’ve been so hard, I could never do that.”

Me: “It was a tad difficult, yes. But I’m smart, so I managed.”

And that instantly makes me feel 100x better about the fact that I (as of now) am not using my degree. But who needs it when I’m schoolin life right? Right. 

*may I also mention: consistently ranked as one of the Top 25 in the world and Top 3 outside of the U.S
